About Doppler Studio

Doppler Studio is a small underground dance music venue in Leicester, providing a space for emerging artists, DJs, and collectives to showcase their sound. Rooted in community and underground culture, the venue is a hub for cutting-edge music and immersive events. We are looking for an Audience Growth & Community Manager to build and engage our audience, driving visibility for the venue and its events.

Role Overview

We need someone who understands underground music culture and knows how to grow an engaged online and offline community. Your role will be to increase Doppler Studio’s presence across social media, promote the events happening at the venue, and build connections within Leicester’s music scene.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategy to grow Doppler Studio’s social media presence (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, etc.)

  • Create engaging content showcasing events, artist performances, behind-the-scenes footage, and community stories

  • Identify and engage with key online communities, music influencers, and industry connections

  • Foster an active online community by responding to comments, messages, and discussions

  • Maintain a content calendar aligned with venue events and brand milestones

  • Track and analyse audience growth metrics to refine strategies

  • Work with artists, promoters, and brands to promote Doppler Studio as a key underground venue

  • Explore partnerships, sponsorships, and creative campaigns to boost brand visibility

Ideal Candidate

  • Passionate about underground music, live events, and grassroots artist development

  • Proven experience in social media growth and community management

  • Strong content creation skills (basic graphic design, video editing, or photography is a plus)

  • Knowledge of social media algorithms and best practices

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently

  • Experience in music marketing, event promotion, or brand partnerships is a bonus
